If you’ve chosen to follow Jesus, baptism is a meaningful next step. It’s an outward sign of the new life He is growing in you and a way to tell your church family, “I belong to Jesus.”

You don’t need to have everything figured out. We’re here to answer your questions and help you take this step with confidence.

WHAT DOES BAPTISM MEAN?

Jesus was baptized, and He called His followers to make disciples and baptize them. Baptism is a step of obedience that says you want to follow Him with your life.

Read Matthew 3:13–17 and Matthew 28:18–20.

Going under the water pictures Jesus’ death and burial. Coming up again pictures His resurrection and the new life we have in Him.

Baptism is an outward sign of your faith in Jesus and the work He is doing in your heart.

Baptism is a chance to share the hope you’ve found in Jesus. Your story can encourage someone else as they take their next step toward Him.

Invite friends and family to celebrate with you. We love seeing our church family come together for this moment.

Start with a conversation. Let us know you’re interested, and we’ll connect with you to talk about your faith, answer questions, and help you prepare.

Know what to expect. Baptisms usually happen toward the end of our Sunday service. We’ll confirm the date, arrival time, what to bring, and any other details with you beforehand.

You’ll have someone beside you. We’ll show you how to get in and out of the baptism pool and guide you through each part of the moment.
